This series covers the physiological and philosophical aspects of meditation, pranayama (breathing techniques) to enhance your meditation and physical practice, plus the deeper philosophies of sacred yogic texts that we can apply to our lives – how to manage challenging situations calmly yet also accomplish what is needed by learning to really understand the patterns that run so deep in the minds of all of us and drives our actions. These lessons will help us to respond rather than react emotionally to situations that trigger us. Yes, this is possible! This workshop series will show you how.

This 10 part series runs between February 9th – April 28th 2019.

This series will go over the principles present in each pose so you will have the skills needed to bring yourself into alignment no matter what class you attend. Wrists hurt in downward facing dog? Lower back compression in backbends? This and many more common issues will no longer be present in your practice.

You will learn how to heal  a current injury through the practice rather than just avoiding certain postures and also how not to create new ones!. With proper alignment you will build strength and enhance your practice in a shorter time than you ever thought possible. Not only are these principles for the mat, they are principles for life!

This five part series runs between February 16th – March 10th 2019.

Gentle Yoga Practice, Journaling and Meditation Workshop

In this workshop we will journey through the layers of consciousness, also known as the Koshas in yogic philosophy, to bring our true authentic self into all of our thoughts, words and actions.

Through the use of movement, journaling and meditation techniques we will begin to uncover our truth leading us to living our lives more in alignment with who we truly are.

Please wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal and pen.
